Very underrated.

I like the combination of aggrotech and speed-core, although it is a bit too repetitive, and clips too much.

Very good, it feels as if made with more intend than previous pieces, I very much enjoy that.

thank you! and yeah i agree, it has a clear theme and a character of its own

It was pretty fun participating.

Also it turned out quite good, congratulations everyone!

The production is pretty tight all throughout, congrats!

eurus0 responds:

thank you so much!

I like the vocals, specially how they sound like they are being processed by a guitar FX rig, and going through a guitar amp, even if their production could be tighter and more legible, I think the very distorted sound adds way more than they being too "clean" would. Also the delivery works very well with the FXs. Although I think the way they are mixed with the guitar on the right doesn't quite work, specially after 1:22.

Also at times the different parts/instruments' audio blend too much after 0:40, the first 40 seconds and last 47 are very well put together though.

Is it perchance inspired by Meishi Smile's Ressentiment album?

Anyway, I enjoyed it quite a lot.

The initial/main melody is very compelling, also its timbre, it's a shame it gets obscured for most of the piece, in my opinion

Also I think the drum-loop from 1:04 to 3:34 is too short/repetitive, and gets boring by the later half despite the added elements, though the part when it slows down is very good.

The ending part is very very good, my favorite part of the piece in fact. Though I think it could've been a little better if the main melody could be heard more clearly, on top of what I think is a delay, rather than drowning on it, or perhaps just too low on the mix, either way. Also that heartbeat kick works really well in it.

i was actually thinking about creating an alternative version to this track which would be more of an ambient background that i could use for a dnd session (this song is for a character as i said), the alt track would be putting more attention to the melody, im glad that you liked it!
thank you for the feedback, especially the one about the drums, i'll make sure to take it to heart!

At 2:37 or so till 3:19 the audio gets very "muddy", the pad in the mid-high frequencies drowns the rest of element that share frequency-space (even if not necessarily bad, I think it doesn't work here), and when it comes back later, but to a lesser extent.

Using side-chain compression or EQing could solve that.

It's quite a long way to go, but the style has potential.

Its different sections feel too unrelated to one another despite their similarities, also, it feels empty throughout the whole piece (like if it ware missing tracks). Also it probably would benefit from being produced in such a way that it'd sound wider.

In my opinion its best aspect is its deviation from genre archetypes.

HammyMusic responds:

Yeah this is probably one of my worst songs, still struggle with parts not feeling related though even in my newest ones because I have too many ideas.

Very enjoyable. Although some of the different sounds ("instruments") don't quite match well with one another (even if it is very minor, I thought it worth mentioning), probably a mastering thing.

JustDen responds:

Thanks! About instruments, i used different soundfonts

I adore art.
