Very fun and unique, the progression is specially good, it stays dynamic and encaging despite being mostly just variations of the same "part".

thank you **
Very good, specially the atmosphere.
thanks
Very good, it feels as if made with more intend than previous pieces, I very much enjoy that.
thank you! and yeah i agree, it has a clear theme and a character of its own
The production is pretty tight all throughout, congrats!
thank you so much!
The initial/main melody is very compelling, also its timbre, it's a shame it gets obscured for most of the piece, in my opinion
Also I think the drum-loop from 1:04 to 3:34 is too short/repetitive, and gets boring by the later half despite the added elements, though the part when it slows down is very good.
The ending part is very very good, my favorite part of the piece in fact. Though I think it could've been a little better if the main melody could be heard more clearly, on top of what I think is a delay, rather than drowning on it, or perhaps just too low on the mix, either way. Also that heartbeat kick works really well in it.
i was actually thinking about creating an alternative version to this track which would be more of an ambient background that i could use for a dnd session (this song is for a character as i said), the alt track would be putting more attention to the melody, im glad that you liked it!
thank you for the feedback, especially the one about the drums, i'll make sure to take it to heart!
It's quite a long way to go, but the style has potential.
Its different sections feel too unrelated to one another despite their similarities, also, it feels empty throughout the whole piece (like if it ware missing tracks). Also it probably would benefit from being produced in such a way that it'd sound wider.
In my opinion its best aspect is its deviation from genre archetypes.
Yeah this is probably one of my worst songs, still struggle with parts not feeling related though even in my newest ones because I have too many ideas.
Very enjoyable. Although some of the different sounds ("instruments") don't quite match well with one another (even if it is very minor, I thought it worth mentioning), probably a mastering thing.
Thanks! About instruments, i used different soundfonts
The track is great, it truly sounds like it could be part of the soundtrack of game (and a good one, at that), the production sounds great, and the progression is very smooth.
Kinda unrelated, but after listening to it I was wondering, how do you get the "stab strings" to sound that way? I've tried a few times, but can't get that sound at all, for some reason.
Sorry for the late reply! Finally got the project file open and it looks like it's the Roland SR-JV80-06 Dance - Kutt Hit preset layered with another KORG Polysix preset called "Brave Arp"
I'm automating the mix on Valhalla Supermassive to give it that HUGE reverb
Hope this helps~
Reminds me a lot to Sewerslvt's music, to be precise to the later half of their discography, but much, much, much more upbeat and optimistic. Though in all sincerity I prefer the "darkness" of their music, but no matter.
you have no idea how much of a compliment it is, as Sewerslvt's music was the thing that pushed me into creating music in the first place, and I strive to achieve the level of quality that their releases have
thank you so much!
This is one of the most beautiful dark ambient pieces I've heard.
Thank you so much! It means a lot :)
I adore art.
